Design and fabrication usually goes hand in hand and eventually ties into a project.
Our business functions mostly in the design of Mechanical complex parts, assemblies and complete applications one the one hand, and the design of civil structures and rural structures as well as the errection thereoff.
In all areas we use the industry standard in CAD software to assist us in creating a proper accurate representation of what we hope the final product would look like and how it will function.
Mechanical software allows us to test srength, flows and interference and ensure the final design work exatly as it should to the milimeter. Through this process the R&D cost can almost be removed from the equation.
Civil software assist us in designing buildings which is structurally sound and help as to render and visualize the final product before we actually start. It help us check the energy usage of buildings and houses and also do logistical analysis to ensure the flow of product and process is accounted for.
Mechanical Design
Mechanical design begins with putting concept on paper. At Dimensis we believe if we can draw it, we can build it.
Having extensive knowledge and years of experience designing and building implements, packing lines and many more has allowed us to be able to solve the most complex tasks.
Using CAD programs such as Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Fusion we asr able to conceptualize, visualize and test a design and the machanics before it is put into fabrication.
Once we have our concepts and assemblies designed and 100% sorted we can go to our partners and have parts created through CNC process such as Laser, Bending, Milling and turning.
Further approaches includes 3D printing of base models, moulds and parts that reduces the cost of fabrication. Inhouse printing alows for PLA, PETG printing of models p to 400 x 400. Larger models and materials such as nylon and carbon can be outsourced.
Civil Design
Civil design begins with understanding the required outcome. We approach everything as a combination of effective design mixed with artwork.
Having a structural design that works outside and inside and looks good is an absolute must. Understanding the energy effect on buildings & houses have become an essential.
Using CAD programs such as Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Advanced Steel we are able to conceptualize, visualize and test a design and the strength before the professionals needs to get involved.
Once the designs is sorted and the costs have been determined we can involved professionals at which point we negotiate a discount for work already completed and thoroughly thought through.
Should we at this point be required to incorporate the work into a Project we also have a detailed understanding of the finest assembly and rollout elements which allows us to reduce unforeseen alterations and make the required alterations to finish the project within budget on time.
