.Project Spesifications

Overview A thermal biomass gasifier installation that can assist in replacing the warm water requirements for a resort. The idea is to replace the use of individual geysers and electrical applications for heating with a biomass solution.
Project Details
  • A requirement for heating water to be routed through a ring-feed insulated piping system around the resort.
  • The heat will be used in applications such as showers and bathrooms, but will also heat rooms via a cast-ed thermal block mounted as a heat panel on the walls inside the rooms.
  • The unit must be enclosed and containerized.
  • 24/7 operational ability.
  • Fully automated through PLC control.
  • Biomass basically consists of wood pellets and or apricot pips.
Figures : Heating capacity
  • Built in 1 cube hopper.
  • 250 kw thermal output constant feed gasifier.
  • High grade Stainless internal Pipe heat Exchange.
  • Approximately 62 kg bio-material hourly requirement.
  • Secondary heat exchange within water tank to skim energy of exhaust gas.
  • 3 x 3 kw supporting, fall over heating elements.
Figures : Thermal Storage
  • 2,000 l Thermal insulated Storage Tank.
Electrical requirements
  • Hopper : 2 x three phase 1.1 kw geared motor.
  • Gasifier : 1 x 3 kw three phase phase gasifier fan & 1 x 0.75 kw three phase cleaner motor .
  • Transfer : 1 x 0.75 kw single phase thermal circulation pump – Internal Heat Exchange.
  • Ringfeed : 1 x 5.5 kw three phase circulation pump.
  • 3 x 3 kw supporting fall over heating elements. (Only in case of downtime)
